Platonides is correct - what is more, we cannot show latin characters (or
translations) for those names since they are hardcoded, static names. If
the values get changed to the iso-3166-2 subdivision codes, then we will be
able to display the region names in a user's language/alphabet (provided we
have the appropriate translations).
