This initiative is not only for European Chapters and Wikimedia India is more than welcome to participate if you would like to organize the contest in India! It would be great if you would! As Wikimedia Sweden's involvement is financed by Europeana any direct financial support (from our project budget) can only be given to European Chapters (e.g. for my work time or for costs of hosting websites etc.).
