Maarten's notes were meant to be used on Wikipedia, but I believe some groups have their lists on Commons - isn't that right?
I added an example template using a list item from the Dutch lists on the English Wikipedia here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Monuments#Unique_identifiers Hopefully this will also help people with the template set-up part. This is the way things are now, but is there any progress on moving these templates to another system such as Lua or WikiData?
