I agree that we do want images to be added to the UK lists, if time allows, but for anyone who can make some time over the next few days/week the priority must be to get up the lists which are so far missing entirely, or which are not in a useable format for WLM. The ones remaining are:
England Bristol (II*) Cheshire (I) Cheshire (II*) Cornwall (II*) Herefordshire (II*) London (II*) Shropshire (II*) Somerset (I) Suffolk (I) West Midlands (I) Northern Ireland Antrim (A) Armagh (A) Down (A) Londonderry (A) Tyrone (A) The progress list is at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2013_in_the_United_Kingdom/planning/lists Michael On 23 Aug 2013, at 10:30, Harry Mitchell wrote: > of *lesser* importance, but not of no importance - adding images helps us > identify where we have gaps and gives people an idea of what it is we want > them to photograph. > > --- > Harry Mitchell > Chair, Wikimedia UK Conference Committee > > Tel: +44 (0) 24 7698 0977 > Mob: +44 (0) 7585 357 416 > Skype: harry_j_mitchell > > Any views expressed in this email are those of the sender alone unless > explicitly stated otherwise. > > On 2013-08-23 10:28, Lodewijk wrote: >> I agree, once the lists are set up properly, there are also some >> tools that could help you identify images (if they are tagged with the >> identifier in Commons), and add them to the lists. >> >> Best, >> Lodewijk >> >> 2013/8/23 Michael Maggs <[email protected]> >> >>> Adding images is probably of lesser importance for the moment, at least for >>> the start of WLM. >>> >>> Michael >>> >>> On 23 Aug 2013, at 10:18, Andrew Gray wrote: >>> >>>> Thanks :-) >>>> >>>> The upshot is that we now have basic Category A lists for both Edinburgh >>>> and Glasgow.
