We lack several translations (I noticed Italian), perhaps the template
should be converted to the Translate extension's page translation? Also,
why isn't it called with {{autotranslate}}, to save participants some
clicking?

The problem is that many translations are missing (quite more than what
I expected!), and thus it is not translated to those languages.
The message has been sent to all wlm participants except those with no
uploads left, waiting for a possible variation in the text given for them.
Note that you can advertise the survey on your websites, facebook,
twitter...
