These are both interesting. Thanks for sharing them. We had a prep session a few hours ago where Stephen reminded us of something you told us earlier (I'm paraphrasing, perhaps heavily): that in Ukraine running Wiki Loves Monuments is a family event. You are creating an environment where people think of Wiki Loves Monuments not as a one time event, but as something that they can come to later and connect with again and again. This is very beautiful (and interesting;)! :) btw, if you ever want to write in more details about how you run the contest in Ukraine and especially the human and community side behind it, please write a blog post. If your resources are limited, we're happy to work with you and help you write one. We should talk about these aspects more, and share them more broadly! :) Best, Lily > -- > Vira Motorko // Віра Моторко > Wikimedia Ukraine nonprofit organisation // ГО «Вікімедіа Україна» > mobile: +380667740499 | facebook: vira.motorko | wikipedia: Ата > > If this email is about your daily job and it reaches you outside of the > working hours, please, feel free to answer when it's appropriate! // Якщо це > робочий лист і Ви отримали його не в робочий час, будь ласка, відповідайте, > коли вважаєте за потрібне! > > 2017-09-06 22:12 GMT+03:00 Lodewijk <[email protected]>: >> >> hey all, >> >> tonight (tomorrow morning for me - yawn!), we'll be joining a special >> episode of Wikipedia Weekly! >> >> It is always nice to share a bit about what you're doing in your country, >> and for the conversation it would be nice to tap into some of those stories. >> I know a bunch because of talking with a lot of you - but I would definitely >> appreciate a bit more sharing. >> >> This is extremely short notice (about 7-8 hours to go), but if you have >> cool stories about your country, what kind of stuff you're doing, how you're >> reaching out to new users, how you're targeting the most important monuments >> to you, or how you're trying to do the impossible - please share! >> >> I can't promise we work it into the conversation - but either way you'll >> bring a smile on my face.
