Hi Simon,

This may be of use to someone but there is already

http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikimania-l/

and the established service for further distribution of Wikimedia
mailing list (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mailing_lists) is GMANE, see

I don't see any relevant conversation. People are complaining, that's
what people always do. Instead they could start and do something
productive - complaining is always easier than finding out what's really
neded and then work on it.

I would appreciate a session on (national) libraries very much either at
Wikimania or in other context. You could distribute the call for
participation in the library scence, collect information on the
wikimania wiki etc.

About: IRC, Skype, Accessgrid etc. - I don't care which to use for
communication, but only open standards with support of Open Source
Software are acceptable choices - such as Email, IRC, Jabber ...

Greetings,
Jakob
