Hi Cary, I started a subpage to link such things to: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimania/community
Including a checklist page: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimania/checklist It's very very unfinished and needs a lot more added. I also have a draft of some advice up at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Phoebe/Wikimania I'm hoping the Meta Wikimania page can be the hub for all things Wikimania-related, so please link stuff there if you've got it. I've worked on this stuff on and off but keep getting distracted, and so haven't promoted it too much. But if you've worked on Wikimanias past please please please help document them -- see the conference subpages under Wikimania. best, Phoebe On Wed, Mar 3, 2010 at 10:44 AM, Cary Bass <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, > > I have recently been asked to see if we can't put together some > easy-to-find FAQ for recommendations to teams who want to bid for > Wikimania.
