1. IIRC the reciprocal EU-Japan immigration agreements will mean you should be informing the Customs/Immigration people where you will be staying while visiting. 2. You're highly likely to be charged for all cash withdrawals from any bank where they do not have special agreements with the bank you are drawing funds from.
