Hi all, Following from my recent email, I would like to invite people to put themselves forward who are interested in serving on the Wikimania 2012 jury. Please find <http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimania/Jury> which is a list of general requirements.
However In short: * Please make sure you will have some time to be involved in the selection process, especially between January 1 and the first week of March. * People who have attended Wikimania or who have greatly contributed to a strong bid, or who have run other Wikimedia events; and who are otherwise involved in the Wikimedia movement are preferred. * There will be a representative of the board, the advisory board, and the WMF staff on the jury. The other members should be an even mix of chapter and non-chapter people; and the jury as a whole should be geographically diverse and have a fair representation of both genders. * If you are going to be contributing in a large part to a bid for 2012, you are not advised to put your name forth for conflict of interest reasons.
