During last Wikimania (DC), I had vehemently suggested that accessories
like power plugs and split-outs of local / Universal standards and possibly
even different kinds of USB chargers could be very suitable candidates for
http://shop.wikimedia.org/ merchandise at their stalls.

They could even be branded and thus act as some Wikimedia brand
advertisement!

In any case, what I do normally is to keep a power strip with 5 or 6
outlets (with my local standard) with *just a single input plug* that is
either universal or adapted to the visiting country's standard. It is just
a little extra luggage compared to the size and weight of all other gadgets
we must carry anyway.
