In fact, my submission is still "open" but it's not included in the schedule.
However, I got to the conclusion that it had been rejected when I didn't get
any message at all. As Cooper says, this is something that future organizers
may have to take into account. In other Wikimanias (this is my fifth) I
remember having received a message stating that my submission had been
accepted. But, as this is the first time that it's not, I thought that only
successful candidates received messages. It's good to know that.
