Thanks Ellie for sharing this important information! In the application form, there is a text input form to enter "Closest international airport". I bet this will be used to calculate how much travel cost will be. How "international" should this airport be? Such as the ones that operate inter-continental/-oceanic flights? For example, my closest airport has three international destinations to nearby countries, as well as to a big airport Tokyo/Haneda. (Flights between the airport and Tokyo will cost drastically cheaper if booked as as a whole itinerary.)
