Hello Boston Wikimedians,
Enid Karr, a librarian at Boston College is working on Open Access Week for the
college, and is wondering if anyone would be interested in speaking or helping
out with the event. In the e-mail, she mentioned ambassadors, but due to the
fact that there are more people in Boston than just ambassadors, I am sending
this out to the mailing list.
Additionally, Kery Iyall Smith, a professor at Suffolk University is looking
for an ambassador for a class that meets from 10:00-10:50 on Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you are an ambassador, or are looking to become
one, let me know, as I am happy to provide more information.
I have Cc’d both women onto this e-mail if anyone wants to find out more
information directly, and I would encourage anyone who is interested to help
out, because both outreach opportunities sound very interesting, and I would
love it if they could both have a Wikimedian helping them.
