The San Diego thing is not really a regional conference, more like a local Wiknic meetup. I don't think there are LA people attending even.
There are larger gathering every month or so in NYC and DC, and we'd be glad to welcome you to one. Maybe we should have more organized Northeast Corridor exchanges?
