What 'rest of us'? There are 83 people registered and receiving these e-mails, of whom 6 or 7 appear to have known of/been involved with any decision-making. The last e-mail to this list, which is everywhere described as the way to be involved in building and implementing the chapter, was August 7th. My apologies for plain speaking, but you fairly clearly do not represent any Wikimedia Community in Canada which has been engaged in the decisions being made ostensibly on their behalf.
