I've heard that in NYC, the largest TA3M city event, Wikipedians use
TA3M to meet once a month in NYC in person. Maybe there are other
NYC-area Wikipedia events, but TA3M is used for some NYC Wikipedian
face time.

When I helped co-create TA3M Seattle, I was hoping for
cross-polination of information exchange between all the local tecnology
user groups, and I was hoping for some Open Data coverage, beyond more
Open Source, so I'm very happy to see Wikipedia involved with TA3M
Seattle!

Thanks for speaking at TA3M, J-Mo, and Pine, and Mako! And thanks
for Lane for initially getting TA3M and local Wikipedians
connected!
