I highly doubt the IP editor who added the Wikimania 2016 proposal redlink
was being malicious; likely it's just a momentarily enthusiastic Seattleite
who stumbled across the page on meta, and probably has never heard of the
Cascadia usergroup or even local meetups before.

I watch these Wikimania bidding pages regularly, and good-faith but
ill-informed additions are common and harmless, and can help spark positive
discussion by the regular editors/organizers.
