Hi Cascadians,

Peaceray, Brianhe and I met this evening. We agreed on a multi-pronged
approach in response to WMF comments:

* We plan to reorganize how we do our programmatic and administrative
tasks, in order to distribute the workload among more people. This is
dependent upon the agreement of a variety of people to take on more work
like our 501c3 application and event logistics. More details will be
forthcoming, hopefully by Monday.

* The Board will internally develop a written response to WMF comments,
indicating a willingness to realign some plans with WMF wishes while noting
some places of questions or differing views. This will probably be
published in late May or in June after approval by our board.

* While at the Wikimedia Conference, I will discuss with other affiliates
and WMF ways in which we believe the WMF grantmaking processes and
limitations can be improved and streamlined.

Regards,
Pine
