I woke up this morning to hear yet another goodnews. Hovercards, a feature found on sites like Facebook and Twitter which shows up when you put your mouse over a profile link, has been introduced onto Wikipedia. However it isn't for showing 'profiles' rather, displaying a preview of the article the link links to.
