Well your article creates the impression that the case has been withdrawn and did not state that the state is still pursuing the case. Hence the part about the jury hearing the case creates a disconnect. I think you can enrich it further by 1. the complainant has expressed a lack of interest in pursing the case
.2.The state says the case is of a criminal nature and therefore does not need the original complainant to continue 3..The case is going to be tried by a jury.
