Hello all I am writing this email to invite you to be part of the fast internet celebrations in Africa and in Ghana.The Open Foundation West Africa will be hosting this event in Ghana to promote Fast and Affordable Internet in Ghana.
FASTAfrica <https://webwewant.org/fast-africa/> is Africa’s campaign to highlight the importance of Internet access and affordability to development and human rights. To support local groups working on Internet policy and to encourage regional collaboration, we are organizing an action week from May 1-7, 2016 with over 40 organisations participating across 30 countries. Later this year, WWW will travel to Kigali, Rwanda for The World Economic Forum on Africa (May 11-13) and the African Union Summit (June) to bring our demands to African leaders. The events in Ghana are as follows; 2nd May 2016: Tamale Discourse HopIn Academy Waterworks Tamale. Time 9am -1pm 5th May 2016 Accra Internet Discourse Venue will be communicated in the course of the week *7*th May 2016 Kumasi Affordable Internet Discourse.Venue Kumasi Hive Time 9am-1pm. Please help change the state of internet in Ghana by joining any of the events to make your contributions to changing polices to ensure internet affordability.
