Hello everyone,

We’re still working to integrate our Training of Trainers (ToT)
participants into the Wikimedia Ghana User Group Facilitators & Trainers
Network, where you can now lead wmgh events.

Our next step is to pair those who are available and ready for more
experience with our senior trainers and facilitators as workshop and
edit-a-thon support/assistants.

If you haven’t yet hosted an event, please reach out, we’ll gladly support
you as you plan your first one. If you haven’t connected with your mentors,
we encourage you to do so.

Please note: ToT participants need to facilitate at least one event in
order to pair to volunteer for our events. This helps us confirm you’re
ready to help deliver training.

We plan to close this WhatsApp group and move everyone into the network
group. Whenever there are events, we’ll post there so you can sign up and
be paired with a facilitator or trainer.

Please join the network Whatsapp group:
https://chat.whatsapp.com/LZSCNgrUJ1SLuWHNXOK80s ; this one for the ToT
will be closed by the end of the week.

Please also note that our bi-weekly online editathons are resuming this
September, while our in-person national events happen as and when a
regional node can confirm.

You’re welcome to volunteer for any of the upcoming sessions, stipends and
reimbursements will be provided. This is a great way to apply your skills,
gain hands-on experience, and help strengthen our community of editors.

If interested, please sign up for the first Wikipedia session happening
this Thursday at 7 PM; spaces are first-come, first-served.

Thanks for continuing to learn and grow with us!
