Hi everyone, I am happy to share the annual report of the Deoband Community Wikimedia (DCW) User Group <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Deoband_Community_Wikimedia> with you. To share a few highlights: 1. In 2024, we conducted twelve important conversation hours <https://dcwwiki.org/DCW_Conversation_Hour_Archive>, and had the 24th edition on 27 December 2024, featuring Prof Swati Chawla from O. P. Jindal Global University. 2. In 2024, we established two new Wiki Clubs. 3. In 2024, our volunteers contributed over 200+ articles in several Wikipedia editions. 4. In 2024, our Heritage Lens Fellowship helped bring more than 239 images to Wikimedia Commons! 5. We adapdated Wikimedia Australia's Drop-in and Wiki <https://wikimedia.org.au/wiki/File:Drop_in_Wiki.png>, and created Mehfil-e-Wiki <https://dcwwiki.org/Mehfil-e-Wiki>, and had its first two editions in 2024. 6. We conducted more than 11 impactful workshops throughout the year. The last workshop of the year was about Handling Vandalism on Wikipedia. <https://dcwwiki.org/dc-g9> 7. In 2024, we had a representation at the Wikimedia Summit, the last of its kind - and our volunteers participated in several other events. 8. Wiki Clicks AMU <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Clicks_AMU> was conducted by our members of Wiki Club AMU from 1 to 15 January, 2025; which did not only help bring more than 90+ images, but also 9 new participants! There is much more in the reports and I am hopeful that you will enjoy reading. Overall 2024 has been a good step forward and 2025 will be much better as our leadership has made a transition to a different decision-making structure. Additionally, given the developments in our Leadership Development Program, we are incubating a learning zone <https://learn.dcwwiki.org/>, and your input is always welcome.
