Each year, several of the movement’s core governance committees seek new
volunteers to support essential and high-impact work across the Wikimedia
ecosystem. The current cycle for appointments is open for AffCom, Ombuds
Commission, and Case Review Committee.

Applications for these committees open on 30 October 2025 and close on 11
December 2025. Learn how to apply by visiting the appointment page on

There will be two conversation hours to answer any questions that potential
applicants may have:
