Hi Everyone,
I am happy to announce that we have managed to hire a new Executive Director
who will take over from Sandra Rientjes, who is retiring at the end of this
year. Cristina Fodor has started on the 1st of December and during the month of
December, Sandra and Cristina will work side by side to ensure a smooth
handover, with Cristina gradually taking over more responsibilities. She can be

Cristina Fodor brings a wealth of professional experience to the role. Trained
as a linguist, she was a university lecturer and researcher in her native
Romania.
She has lived in the Netherlands since 2005, and is a well respected
professional in the field of communication, marketing and fundraising. She has
worked for Utrecht University, the Amsterdam Museum and the Performing Arts
Fund, among others. She has extensive experience in campaigns, working with
communities, press relations, relationship and stakeholder management, and
managing change processes. She is also an experienced team and project manager.
On behalf of the board and the dutch community I would like to thank Sandra
Rientjes for her incredible contributions over more than 13 years in our
movement. Apart from steering our chapter with a steady hand she has played an
important role in movement strategy discussions and the ED group.
