Hello Wikibooks community,
I have an original work titled Strawberry Creek Voices that I’m interested in
making available on Wikibooks. It is primarily edutainment — a combination of
narrative, inspirational reflection, and subtle educational themes. It is
freely available and not commercial.
Before I begin formatting or structuring it for Wikibooks, I’d like to clarify
a few points:
-
Would a creative, inspirational work that blends narrative and reflective
content be acceptable on Wikibooks?
-
Does a work need to have explicit instructional content or learning exercises,
or could it primarily be reflective and thematic?
-
Are there examples of similar creative or literary works successfully hosted on
Wikibooks that could serve as a model?
Thank you for any guidance you can provide. I want to ensure my work aligns
with Wikibooks’ scope and community standards. I'm inspired to write to you
because I read the Free-Mind Quran and a Tao Te Ching from Wikibooks, both
online-user-contributed versions and excellent. When my Strawberry Creek Voices
project started to take shape, I began to think "Shouldn't it fit in there,
like those two books I read from there?" You can read SCV at it's webpage:
