Hoi,
You require a robust system where you have all the information about all
the persons involved.. At Wikidata you may know about Nigerian politicians,
parties etc. You may know when a politician started as an MP or had
whatever other role. You may identify new people and find that people are
already known. There should be only one identifier for each person.
I have created identifiers for many African politicians on my personal
Wikipedia page, they can be found here (1). These Listeria lists will
update automagically when new information becomes available. Not only on
the English Wikipedia but everywhere where these lists are posted and where
Listeria works.
I started these list because there is no sustained effort for data about
Africa, I care about science and politics.. Collaborating on these lists is
a dream come true. This issue is needed for every African country and every
African language Wikipedia.
thanks,
Gerard
