Dear all, Last year marked a turning point in Wikimedia Georgia's history. After ten years of development, it became the newest chapter of Wikimedia. I want to share news about recent administrative changes, specifically the election of a new board of trustees for Wikimedia Georgia.
On December 14, 2025, Wikimedia Georgia conducted its annual General Forum and Board of Trustees elections in accordance with its bylaws. As a result of the elections, the following individuals were elected to the BoT: 1. Beka Baiashvili – Chair of the Board; 2. Mimoza Gholijashvili – Deputy Chair of the Board; 3. Giga Doguzovi – member; 4. Mariam Amilakhvari – member; 5. Mariam Kvartskhava – member.
