Dear all, We’re excited to share the *EduWiki January 2026 Newsletter*, our first edition of the year!
This issue brings together *16 stories* from across the Wikimedia movement, offering a strong start to 2026. The submissions reflect how communities are planning their Wikimedia and education activities for the year ahead, alongside thoughtful recaps of education initiatives from 2025. In this edition, you’ll also find stories celebrating Wikipedia at 25, including activities hosted by university clubs and community groups, as well as reflections on learning, outreach, and engagement across different regions and contexts. Together, these stories highlight the diversity of approaches communities are taking to strengthen education, digital literacy, and open knowledge in 2026.
