Dear all, We are pleased to announce the newly elected Executive Committee of Wikimedia Bangladesh for the 2026–2027 term. Following the organization’s Annual General Meeting on January 17, a nine-member committee was formed through a vote by our members. The office bearers of the organization were subsequently determined during the committee’s first meeting held on February 8.
In the new committee, Tanvir Rahman has been elected as President, Md. Delwar Hossain as Secretary, and Shakil Hosen as Treasurer. The other members serving on the Executive Committee are Moheen Reeyad, Shabab Mustafa, Subrata Roy, Dolon Prova, Mayeenul Islam, and Tanbin Islam Siyam. As we begin this new term, Wikimedia Bangladesh remains dedicated to its mission of supporting our volunteer community and advancing the creation and dissemination of open knowledge across all levels of society.
