Hello everyone,

Do you use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini as part of your daily
life or work? For many, these tools have become hard to avoid, and for
people working in resource-constrained environments, the pressure to use
them is real.

But what privacy and safety risks come with using these tools? And how can
we use them in ways that protect ourselves, our organizations, and our
communities?

Whether you're an individual using AI in your personal life, an affiliate
staff member using it for organisational work, or someone in a role where
people trust you with sensitive information, join us for the next Digital
Safety Office Hours (Meta-wiki: https://w.wiki/QxQ9), where we'll explore:

   - How fellow Wikimedians are using AI tools
   - Risks and concerns of using AI tools in personal and organisational
   contexts
   - Practical strategies you can apply to reduce those risks

*Please note: This session is not about using AI to edit Wikipedia or other
Wikimedia projects. It's focused entirely on safe personal and
organisational use.*

To attend, email [email protected] with the subject *“Digital
Safety Office Hours (Session 3)”. *We’ll send the call details one day
before the session.

   - *When*: June 26, 2026
