To be exact, it was not anonymous. There is a link to the person's LinkedIn page in the About section[1]. Also, some version of the EIR tool can be found here [2] and based on the code it is not the internal version and it was not actively developed branch. It also doesn't contain the code related to how data was collected, combined and derived. (ie. it was only a UI for showing things) However, my educated guesses suggest it uses participation and event data from Event registration tool which is currently proposed to be mandatory for grantees to use for their events[3]. Second educated guess is that EIR is not the current tool they are using but they have something else that generates similar information. (This is also not published on public repositories). Also I think that this kind of use would require some form of data processing/privacy documentation for end users explaining how data is used (ie. people who register to the events), but i didn't find any. From a grantee's perspective, it would be good to have transparent information for example on how stats and impact are calculated and where it affects, as it is currently a black box.
