My name is Aafi, and I have been a Wikimedian for the past seven years. I established Deoband Community Wikimedia in 2021, and it has become one of the active South Asian Wikimedia communities over the years.
DCW turned five on 31 July 2026. We had our 5th anniversary celebration on 1 August 2026 in New Delhi, where we discussed our past, present, and future. I briefly go through this journey in the following blog:
