Hello everyone, On the International Day of Peace, it is my pleasure to announce that Wiki Loves Peace 2026 has officially begun. The six-week event will run until 30 October, the end of United Nations Disarmament Week.
Wiki Loves Peace is an international photography campaign organized under the Wiki4Disarmament project and supported by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA). We invite participants from around the world to help document peace heritage, memorials, museums, monuments, public art, and other places that embody the pursuit of peace through freely licensed photographs and media on Wikimedia Commons. Selected winning submissions will be featured on the social media channels of UNODA, with full attribution to the photographers.
