There's nothing really exciting within walking distance from BART at Dublin/Pleasanton if that's what you mean. It would be more like a BART and short bus ride. Honestly, I've never done a meetup so I'm not familiar with the protocol, formality, or what usually occurs during a meetup. Does a restaurant work since the proposed date is a Thursday evening? There's the Hopyard (http://www.hopyard.com Wheels #8 bus from BART) or the #10 bus gets a person to downtown Pleasanton with the pleasant Main St. atmosphere and numerous other restaurants.

That being said, if you've got a suggestion for somewhere to meet that is near BART in Pleasanton/Dublin, then by all means, speak up. -Jon On Wed, Mar 18, 2009 at 11:17, Stacey Borsody <stacey.bors...@yahoo.com>wrote: > Vibber wrote: "Ooooh, the scary east bay!" > > Does Pleasanton work?
