Greetings Wiki Makers, For those of you that have visited the SF office you might have seen the live donor comments led ticker sign on the the tech side. This is something that I had wanted to bring at the last maker faire but didn't have enough time to finish.

Currently it's showing donor comments but we can rig any text data source. Really the only restriction is that it can only display ASCII text. Anything non ASCII shows up as ?????. It's controlled through a command line interface running on a ubuntu sheeva plug. http://www.globalscaletechnologies.com/p-22-sheevaplug-dev-kit-us.aspx For the office i have simple script that pull data and pipes it to the sign. All that we would need for a new data source would be the pull and formatted output for the cli interface.
