Hey, all- I'm trying to plan my Wikimania travel, and wondering if anyone has had better luck than I had. Specifically:
I've found recently that I prefer, instead of multiple flight connections, the closest direct flight I can from SFO and then train. For example, there is no direct SFO -> Stockholm, but you can direct SFO -> Copenhagen and then a pleasant train directly from the Copenhagen airport to Stockholm. So far I am... not having much luck on this for Katowice. Looks like the best I can do is direct flight to Frankfurt and then multiple (3+ changes) trains from Frankfurt to Katowice. I worry about connections because neither the German nor Polish train systems seem to have a great reputation for timeliness and I'd hate to miss connections. Anyone had better luck, or alternative suggestions in a similar vein?
