Hi all, the new bulletin from Wikimedia Italia (#65) is available. This time we wrote about the award ceremony for Wiki Loves Monuments Italia, the results of Fashion Editathon, the contest for the first ten years of Wikisource.

Starting with over 600 photographs selected by the organizing committee, the jury has ranked the top ten. The jury was composed by George Tatge (Chairman), former technical and photographic executive of the Fratelli Alinari Museum in Florence, together with other experts in the field (Marianna Santoni and Samuele Pellecchia) and two Wikipedians, Niccolò Caranti e Giovanni Dall'Orto. But it's not all over! Some special prizes have to be announced yet. We thank all the volunteers who participated, the Organizing Committee, the jury, the 527 photographers who uploaded their pictures on Wikimedia Commons. Wiki Loves Monuments is already preparing for 2014: we will soon notify all the news for next year. == Fashion Editathon == [[File:Europeana_Fashion_Editathon_2013_Stra.JPG|200px|thumb|right|Fashion editathon by Niccolò Caranti (own work), [CC-BY-SA 3.0]]] Thursday, November 14th, a Fashion Editathon was held at the headquarters of the Rossimoda Footwear Museum, at Villa Foscarini Rossi in Stra. Thanks to the initiative of Europeana Fashion, the museum has agreed to upload to Wikimedia Commons [ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Images_from_Museo_Rossimoda_della_calzaturaimages of some objects] from its own collection, releasing them under a free license. In addition, other institutions were involved, such as the University of Padua and IUAV of Venice; the event, directed by [[:it:Utente:Virginia Gentilini|Virginia Gentilini]] who was joined by some members of Wikimedia Italia, was indeed primarily thought for students of fashion design and marketing. After an initial presentation of Wikipedia and a guided tour of the museum, the students were divided into groups and worked for more than two hours in the drafting of some items of the encyclopedia. The institutions involved were really satisfied with the outcome of the editathon and the participation of the young people was enthusiastic. We hope that this initiative will be just the first of a long series and that other cultural institutions and museums will allow the use of their images to enrich the articles of Wikipedia about them. == Wikisource celebrates its first ten years with a contest == On 24 November 2013 [ https://it.wikisource.org/wiki/Wikisource:Decimo_compleanno_di_Wikisource#Wikisource_compie_anni.21 Wikisource became ten years old]. To celebrate the birthday, each linguistic community has launched a special contest. The founders of the large digital library launched the idea of a fun competition that, in Italy, will be entirely centered on a reading contest, with three prizes for online bookstores offered by Wikimedia Italia. To participate in the race, which opened November 24 at 00:00 aqnd ends on December 1 at 23:59, you must be a [https://it.wikisource.org/wiki/Speciale:Entra/signupregistered user], and re-read and correct pages already transcribed and formatted.
