Thanks everyone for a great Camp where I met people and learned a lot. The venue was very good and the work put into providing food supplies helped keep us going. I now have much to do - the first thing I have done is to subscribe to this list.
It was great that Tikka (from the National Museum of Australia) and Rose (who used to be at the National Library) were able to attend for short periods and fit in so well with the "whatever happens, whoever appears is good" philosophy. Both of these women have stood up for WP in their respective important organisations in the past and it is good that there was the chance to put some more cement on a relationship between them and Wm-Au specifically. The response of the group to Tikka's low-key and articulate accounts of copyright concerns certainly showed how well they appreciated it, especially since the group's understanding of this complex stuff was so widely varying and it applies in so many different ways to people's interests. I also appreciated (and this often happens in Wiki-land) the involvement and expertise in different projects (such as John's in Wikisource and JJ's in Commons) and also how people helped (such as Fox helping me with markup). Thanks again and also to Jutta for inviting me and Anne for being so good with adminstering me. Whiteghost.ink
