I am happy to share the news that User:Sreejithk2000 is now an
administrator on Wikimedia Commons.

AFAIK, Sreejith is the only Indian with administrative rights on the
Commons.
Do note that User:Yann <http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Yann> and
User:Wikitanvir <http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Wikitanvir> (
Bangladesh ) are also sysops on Commons.
Sreejith is a prolific contributor to English & Malayalam Wikipedias and
Commons. He has been a registered user since 2006, and has 88,000 global
edits, including 33,000 on Commons. He is also an administrator on
Malayalam Wikipedia.
So next time if you have doubts about Commons and Image Copyrights, you
know whom to sees help. :)
