*Elections* Election preparations progressing well. 9 Candidates competing for 5 vacancies *Membership:* Membership as of 31 July, 2012 is 121. *Donations:* Amount of donations processed during the month Rs 1000/- *Board Meetings:* Board had one in person meeting in August *WikiConference 2011* Audit is completed.Report will be published along with Chapter Audit report after AGM on 23 Sep 2012 *Legal services Consultant* Mr. Apar Gupta is appointed as the legal services consultant for the Chapter effective 15 Aug 2012 for a period of one year. Apar is presently a partner at the law firm of Advani and Co.. Having a background in litigation he specializes in legal issues involving technology and intellectual property. His services include legal advisory and consultation as well as representing the Wikimedia Chapter in courts. Community & Special Interest Groups *Events:* - The fifth elephant Wikimedia India partnered with the organisers of The Fifth Elephant Conference held at at NIMHANS convention center on 27th & 28th July 2012. It is also the first ever multi lingual Wiki Academy conducted by chapter. As Dravidian university is focused on the major Dravidian languages, English, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam scholars attended the Wiki Academy.
