Hello everyone, Thank you to all of those who attended today's meeting to discuss the selection process for the selector of the SAARC/South Asia region.
Based on the results of the discussion, you will have a chance to nominate yourself as a selector <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Movement_Charter/Affiliates_by_Region/SAARC#People_willing_to_be_a_selector> (or to encourage people from your affiliate/group to self-nominate!) until *5 PM on 10 October*, according to the local time *anywhere in the SAARC region*. *Anyone can self-nominate. *You're not obliged to be a representative of a particular affiliate, although you'll need to be a member of one - communities, on the other hand, will have a chance to participate in the open elections that will start in a couple of days.
