Yes, David, sounds like it. The opening to this week's signpost article seems to sum it up the situation:
"In the second controversy to engulf Wikimedia UK in two months..." Both controversies seemed to have damaged the relationship between the chapter and the editing communities, in particular on English Wikipedia. I think we need to get together a plan, if we haven't got one already, for how to engage better and build stronger links. After all, this is where most of the chapter's members, activists and income comes from. Has any thought been put into this?
