Chris Keating and I had a chat about Volunteer Declarations of Interest and agreed that it might be worth reminding active members that if they have any intention of applying for roles that are coming up, e.g. Wikipedian in Residence posts it would be prudent to refrain from commenting on any of the aspects surrounding these roles, specifically discussions about job descriptions, contracts, working agreements etc. This will eradicate any issues around Conflicts of Interest. We just cannot be too careful with such a sensitive issue.
