Brian, The obvious opportunity would be to take the fringe to the fringe. Every Wikimania needs some events for the day after Wikimania, why not make one option be to spend a few days at the fringe? I started the category fringe <http://wikimania2014.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Fringe>on the wikimania 2014 and am planning to do a free London museum trip for the day after Wikimania. But we will need several options for Wikimanaians for the 11th Aug onwards and it would be lovely if one could be the Edinburgh fringe.
