I've put up an event page for the VLE Workshop scheduled for 9 November:

There is a signup list if you wish to express interest. I intend to
invite a couple of people from outside the community.
Please use the talk page there if you'd like to raise points about
what should be in the programme for the day. Assume 10am to 4pm as the
times: may have to be modified a bit depending on travel times.
The VLE shares its developer with other WMUK IT tasks, meaning that
the provisional date is exactly that. There shouldn't be so much more
to do on the system, but you need to be aware that external factors
may have an impact.
