For those who are interested, this meetup will also function as an impromptu Wiki Loves Monuments meetup! Bring a camera along and we will take a walk after the meetup - the venue is close to Newington, the Bridges, the University of Edinburgh, the Royal Mile, and the Grassmarket. The 2014 competition closes on 30th September, so this will be a perfect opportunity to learn more about the guidelines and rules, and to photograph some of the city's historic sites!
