Dear all

The strategic direction for the Wikimedia movement to 2030 is now final,
and all groups and individuals are invited to endorse it on *Thursday 26th
October*. The Wikimedia UK board will be deciding over the next few weeks
whether or not to endorse the direction as a Chapter (and I will confirm
with you all once this has been agreed), but all individual contributors,
volunteers, members etc can choose whether or not to add their own support:

https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2017/Direction

The strategy team hope that as many individuals and groups as possible
endorse the strategy in order to show support and commitment to the
direction and to commit to participating in the next phase of the movement
strategy process in good faith. You can do this by signing a meta page with
your Wikimedia username on 26th October.

If anyone has any questions about the process then I can certainly attempt
to answer them from my own perspective, but a lot of information about
what's happened so far and future plans can be found on the strategy meta
pages linked to above.

All best
Lucy
