Dear UK Wikimedians, If you happen to be in London on the 10th of March, please join us at Newspeak House where Dr Denny Vrandečić <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denny_Vrande%C4%8Di%C4%87> will give an update on Wikifunctions <https://www.wikifunctions.org/>, the newest Wikimedia sister project. He will explain the project's goals, how Wikifunctions can be used, where the project is now with more than 2000 functions, and where it is headed: the planned usage in Wikipedia and towards a multilingual Wikipedia <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abstract_Wikipedia>, where everyone can contribute to the knowledge commons.
Denny is Head of Special Projects at the Wikimedia Foundation, founder of Wikidata and Semantic MediaWiki, and was previously an elected member of the Board of Trustees of the WMF.
